Kitea Health appoints experienced medtech exec to lead its board

Kitea has been busy expanding the knowledge and experience across its team and is excited to welcome Dr Harry Rowland as the new Chair of the Board at Kitea Health. An important step as Kitea continues advancing its breakthrough remote physiological monitoring technology, the Kitea System.

Harry brings deep experience in scaling MedTech companies from innovation through clinical validation, regulatory approval, and commercialisation. His experience will be invaluable as Kitea moves into its next phase of growth.

Harry D. Rowland was recently co-founder, CEO, and President of Endotronix (Edwards Lifesciences). He led the team that created the Cordella System, raised more than $150M in financing, built a 150+ person organisation, completed the PROACTIVE HF clinical trial, and achieved FDA PMA approval. This ultimately led to the company’s acquisition by Edwards Lifesciences in 2024. Following the acquisition, Harry joined Edwards for a further year, supporting Cordella’s receipt of CMS national coverage and CE Mark.

Harry holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MA in Economics from University of California (UC Santa Barbara) Santa Barbara. He has authored numerous scientific publications and holds several issued patents.
